Impact Mapping - How to Make Value Driven Prioritization a Reality by Mathias Eifert

Check out the video below of Mathias Eifert presenting on “Impact Mapping – How to Make Value Driven Prioritization a Reality” at the Washington DC Scrum User Group (DCSUG). Mathias explores how impact maps support multiple stakeholders in gaining consensus on which features or actions are most useful to help us achieve an organizational goal. In the process, we agree what needs to be accomplished, create shared understanding of possible solutions, decide which user groups or personas to target first, derive epics/user stories, identify the underlying assumptions that need to be validated using testable hypotheses, and determine leading indicators to get early feedback whether we are moving in the right direction.
