Leadership Agility 360 Assessment
The Leadership Agility 360 Assessment is based on Bill Joiner and Stephen Joseph’s research and award-winning book, Leadership Agility. The research identifies what effective leadership is in VUCA environments with high volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. It focuses on 3 levels of leadership agility from expert to achiever, to catalyst, and demonstrates how leaders can grow by developing leadership competencies.
The Leadership Agility 360 assessment provides qualitative and quantitative data on a leader’s ability to lead organizational change, build high-performing teams, and have engaging pivotal conversations. The assessment looks at the leader’s ability to scope initiatives, set clear direction, engage stakeholders, resolve differences, analyze problems, and co-create solutions.
Via feedback from the leader’s direct reports, stakeholders, and manager, a detailed report is generated highlighting leadership strengths and areas for improvement. This data is then used to develop a leadership roadmap to target practice areas tied to existing initiatives.
The Leadership Coaching and Leadership Agility 360 assessment can be conducted independently, or it can be combined with the 3-part leadership development workshops that include Developing Future Leaders, Building High Performing Teams, and Leading Organizational Change. This provides the added benefit of re-enforcing the tools and techniques covered in the workshops with hands-on targeted practice in real world situations.

Individual One on One Leadership and Executive Coaching
The leadership and executive coaching involves conducting the Leadership Agility 360 assessment and then working with the leader to create a roadmap for growth based on the leader’s current agility level and next steps on the journey. The process typically involves:
- An Orientation session to introduce the assessment, understand the leader’s current initiatives, identify feedback providers, and go over the leadership development planner.
- A self-assessment to have a benchmark to compare the leader’s perception relative to how others perceive the leader.
- Feedback from the leader’s manager, stakeholders, and direct reports to better understand how the leader is perceived by others
- A debrief session to review the qualitative and quantitative data from the report, reconcile differences between the self-assessment and others’ perceptions, clarify questions or concerns, and identify 2 to 3 leadership practices areas to improve on
- Get buy-in and alignment on target improvement areas from the leader’s manager
- Create a leadership development action plan by acknowledging current behaviors and mindsets, identifying aspirational behaviors and mindsets, and selecting target situations to put new practices into action
- Establish recurring follow-up coaching sessions to reflect, mentor, and provide feedback on the leader’s improved leadership practices
Leadership Team or Executive Team Coaching
Leadership or executive team coaching is also available for an entire leadership team that is working towards common organizational initiatives. The approach mirrors the one-on-one coaching sessions and includes additional team coaching sessions to help the team grow together, understand their differences, build trust, and establish mutual accountability to collaborate towards a common goal.
In addition to the recurring 1-on-1 coaching sessions, we establish recurring group sessions to reflect on how we are doing as a team and tackle leadership team challenges as a group. Themes from these sessions might tie in to the individual 1-1 sessions.
